6 hour timed challenge

Unfortunately entry has temporarily closed again as the council has just paused all competitive competitions on the cycle circuit pending a safety review due to the increase in public usage of the circuit and concerns for the safety of all users. We are awaiting confirmation that our running event will be allowed to continue as there aren't the same risks of collisions that there are with cycling events.

A 6 hour timed challenge where you can run, walk or jog as many 1.88 mile out and back laps as you decide on the day. 7 laps make a half marathon, 14 a marathon, or 15 or more an ultra. Everyone completing 1 or more laps is a finisher and receives a medal.

The event will be held at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in Minet country park, where we have arranged exclusive use of the track so you will be able to run on a good quality surface free of any vehicles and cyclists and room to maintain social distancing.

Start times, you will be started individually as soon as you are ready with arrivals staggered from 08:30 to 9:30am, chip timing will show how long you have been going and your last lap must be started within 6 hours of your start time but you can complete a lap which you have started even if your finish time is a little over 6 hours. (Later start times are available if you wish to run for less than 6 hours but you must finish by 3:30pm). There will be a 7 hour limit for Marathon distance only.
