Dinton Pastures - Wednesday 10th July 2019
6 hour timed challenge
6 hour timed challenge where you can run as many or as few 2.6 mile laps as you choose. 10 laps for a marathon, 5 for a half, 11+ for an ultra and 1 or more to be a finisher and get a medal and create your own sundae with a serving of ice cream and choice of sauces and toppings.
The event is being held at Dinton Pastures Country Park near Reading, each lap will start and finish at the Activity centre which we have hired for registration, bag storage, toilets, changing rooms and showers. The course is almost flat, and on good quality lakeside paths, taking you through the woods and around the lakes. The trees offer some shade from the sun but the paths can become quite muddy after heavy rain. The 1st lap will be 2.8 miles to make full marathon distance for anyone completing 10 laps.
The race will start at 09.00 with a cut off at 15:00 (you cannot start a lap after this time but you can complete a lap which you have started even if your finish time is a little over 6 hours).
