New Year

Sunday 3rd January 2021

Marathon or 6 Hour Challenge

New date tba

With London now in tier 4  this event has been postponed, if restrictions are lifted it will be held later in January.

After the Christmas festivities, why not start the new year by completing as many Revolutions of the circuit as you choose. You can either enter the Marathon which has a certificate of course accuracy and a 7 hour limit, or with up to 6 hours you can run, walk or jog as many mud free 1.88 mile out and back laps as you decide on the day. 7 laps make a half marathon, 15 or more an ultra and everyone completing 1 or more laps is a finisher and receives a medal and a choose your own goody bag of treats.

The event is at the Hillingdon Cycle Circuit in Minet country park, where we have arranged exclusive use of the track so you will be able to run on a good quality surface free of any vehicles and cyclists and wide enough to maintain social distancing, toilets are inside the clubhouse building only yards from the track.

For both races you will be able to start anytime between 08.30 and 10:30 but the cut off for the marathon will be at 16:00 and 15:30 is the latest time for starting your last lap in the 6 hour challenge (you cannot start a lap after this time or after your own 6 hour limit if earlier, but you can complete a lap which you have started even if your finish time is a little over 6 hours).
