Running Miles at Jubilee river way

Queens of the Castle IV
Jubilee River Way

Thursday 21st October 2021

A 6 hour timed challenge, where you can run for as long as you want (up to 6 hours) and complete as many 5.25 mile out and back laps as you choose on the day. 5 laps make a marathon, 6+ for an ultra (there will also be a half marathon option by completing a shorter 3rd lap) or 1 or more to be a finisher and get a medal and a pick your own goody bag of treats .

The Kings and Queens medals show monarchs who have lived at Windsor Castle, this one has Queen Elizabeth II, the 4th Queen to live at Windsor Castle.

The route is flat and as you leave the Riverside Centre with Slough behind you, you enter the countryside and follow the crushed stone path with the river Jubilee on one side and fields to the other, on reaching Dorney wetlands you turn back with views towards the Castle.

The race will start at 8:30 am and you must have started your final lap within the 6 hour limit, you will then be able to complete that lap even if your finish time is a little over the 6 hours. If you wish to start later you can have an individual start but the latest time to start your final lap is 2:30 pm.
