Running Miles at Dorney Lake 9th March 2017

Dorney Lake Marathon

and 6 hour Challenge

Sunday 8th March 2020

Certified Acurate.jpg

A flat marathon consisting of 10 out and back laps of the private driveway through the nature reserve at Dorney Lake. All finishers will receive a medal and a pick your own goody bag of treats. Dorney Lake is a world class venue for rowing events, our event will be somewhat less grand and held on land not water.  However, in our opinion and based on regular experience, this is a great venue for a long run.
We have arranged exclusive use of the driveway through the nature reserve for the day, which increases the cost of this event but does mean that the flat route is free from any other users of the estate, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery.
The race will start at 09.00 with a 7 hour cut off.

Alternatively you can enter the 6 hour challenge event starting at the same time and join us for a shorter or longer run, each lap is 2.62 miles and you can run as many or as few as you wish in the 6 hour limit (you cannot start a lap after this time but you can complete a lap that you have started even if your finish time is a little over 6 hours).

Getting there
