6 hour timed challenge, where you can run for as long as you want (up to 6 hours) and complete as many 3.75 mile laps as you choose on the day. 1 or more to be a finisher and get a medal and a pick your own goody bag of treats, 7 laps for a marathon, 8+ for an ultra, there will also be a half marathon option with a shorter 4th lap and a 50km option with a shorter 9th lap.
A flat route with each lap starting at Eton Wick and following the Thames Path towards Windsor. Once in full view of the castle, you turn back passing Windsor Racecourse and Boveney Lock. On reaching the Church of St Mary Magdalene, you head back to the start / finish.
The race will start at 9:00 am and you must have started your final lap within the 6 hour limit, you will then be able to complete that lap even if your finish time is a little over the 6 hours.
The medal is part of a series covering the decades from the 60's to the 10's
Getting there
Eton Wick Scout Hut, Hayward's Mead, Eton Wick, Windsor, Berkshire SL4 6JN - 4 miles from M4 junction 7 (5 miles from Junction 5)
Free parking is available in the Football club car park (150 metres away) and in bays along Eton Wick Road (5 mins walk)
By train nearest stations are
Slough 3m, Burnham 3m, or Windsor (1.7m on foot)

What do I get?
A traffic free, flat, scenic route along the Thames Path.

Where do I get my race number?
Registration will be in the Scout Hut from 08:15. You will get your race number then - nothing will be posted out in advance of the race.

There will be a mandatory race briefing at 08:55
Trail or Road shoes?
Generally road shoes - most of this section of the Thames Path is firm and of a good quality, however there is a very short section that can get muddy after heavy rain.
Can I run with my dog?
Sorry no dogs are allowed due to permit / insurance conditions
